During the week of February 12th, 2013 to February 20th, 2013 CREATE went through an External COR Audit on our health and safety program. A health and safety management system is a proactive approach to minimizing the risk of injury or illness to workers. The system involves management commitment, hazard identification and assessment, hazard control, worker competency and training, inspections, emergency response planning, incident investigation and system administration. All of these are audited by an outside source through a review of our documentation, interviews of management / employees with observations of our sites to ensure our policy is followed and works.

Alberta Human Services defines COR as “A certificate of Recognition (COR) is awarded to employers who develop health and safety programs that meet established standards.”

CREATE is proud to announce that we passed and have obtained our COR Certification. Safety first is very important to the entire Management and Employee team of CREATE. www.citycorecommercial.com
